Terracotta Warriors Location MapHow to Get to Terracotta Warriors from Xian Downtown
The Terracotta Warriors are located approximately 40km to the northeast of Xi'an's center, near the Ancient City Wall. As of November 2023, several transportation options are available, including the subway, public bus, tourist bus, taxi, and private car services. The subway, however, only travels as far as Lintong County, approximately 10km away from the Terracotta Warriors site. For convenient and reliable transport, it's highly recommended to opt for private transfers offered by reputable travel agencies such as China Discovery.
Be cautious at the bus station, as some individuals may approach you, claiming to provide transport to the tourist bus. It's advisable not to follow them, as their "bus" service is unofficial and might not be reliable. When taking a taxi to the Terracotta Warriors, ensure you choose licensed taxis equipped with a functioning taximeter to avoid potential overcharging.
