Chengdu's Accommodation Areas Near Airport & Train Stations

Currently, Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is the major operating airline hub for this city and one more mega airport, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport is supposed to be put into use by 2021 serving most of the international flights. Passengers can stay in the city center and take metro line 10 to get to Shuangliu Airport or choose to stay in the hotel around the airport like Chengdu Airport Hotel.

There are 4 main train stations in Chengdu, named by the directions they located. Among the four stations, Chengdu East Railway Station is the major high-speed train station and Chengdu North Railway Station serves both high-speed trains and normal trains, while Chengdu South Railway Station and Chengdu West Railway Station are for the intercity trains. Besides the four major train stations and train stations in the counties of Chengdu like Shuangliu Railway Station and Xipu Railway Staton, new railway stations, such as Tianfu New Station and Shiling Station are to be built to cooperate with the new airport. All of these train stations mentioned are or will be reachable by the metro.

For the hotel options are limited around the airport and train stations, the quality, facilities, and food may not be as good as the hotels inside the first ring road area.
