2. Near Ticket Stations Outside of Zhangjiajie Forest Park - Foot of Wulingyuan National Forest Park with Budget Options

You may think about where to stay inside of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. BUT, due to the protection policy of environment of the scenic area from the government, there is no accommodation available inside the whole Wulingyuan National Forest Park Scenic Area. However, visitors can stay near the ticket stations outside of the scenic area to save time.

As main attractions and Zhangjiajie downtown area are located with some long distances, you need to arrange where to stay according to how many day of your Zhangjiajie trip is and which attractions you want to visit.
People usually arrange 3-5 days in Zhangjiajie to discover Wulingyuan National Forest Park and more attractions.
Zhangjiajie Arrival:
For the first day, we suggest you spare for your arrival. If you arrive there late in the afternoon, you are suggested stay in the downtown area.
Wulingyuan Exploration:
If you arrive early and want to discover the core area of Wulingyuan Scenic Area first, you can arrange your accommodation at Wulingyuan Town or the area near Forest Park Ticket Station (South Gate) and Zimugang Ticket Station (Southeast Gate).
